DESCRIPTION:Auditions – Mon./Tues.\, Dec. 18\, 19 from 5:30 t0 6:45\nPerformance Dates – March 8-10\, 15-17\nYou only need to attend one night of auditions.\nYou will read from sides – portions of the script. \nSteamer No.10 Theatre – 500 Western Albany – Park – Citizens Bank\, directly across Western\n518-438-5503\nAges 7 to 18\nRehearsals – Tuesday and Thursday 5:30 to 8\, with the occasional Saturday. \nFinding Jo March \nby Laramie Dean\nYou should know right away that this is not a traditional adaptation of Little Women. \nA young writer dives into the world of Louisa May Alcott’s most famous novel in order to bring the story to life (with a little help from their friends). Suddenly the March sisters are back\, and the writer is one of them… Jo! But as the lives and loves of Meg\, Jo\, Beth\, and Amy unfold\, the present constantly threatens to pull the writer back into reality where a tragedy they have yet to deal with waits. \nIt’s about telling someone else’s story so you can find your own. \nCAST is a tuition based program – scholarships available\n$350 which covers 10 weeks of rehearsal/class two to three times each week for 2-3 hours; also covers costumes\, and make-up. The cast and crew create the sets and costumes for the show\, which has 5 to 6 performances over two weekends. Scholarships are available based on economic need.
