DESCRIPTION:Romeo and Juliet Shakespeare’s most popular romantic tragedy of star-crossed lovers will close Steamer No.10’s 2022-2023 Season. It’s a timeless story of young passions caught between the feuding families of Capulet and Montague – a conflict grown so deadly it throws the city of Verona into turmoil. The danger on the streets is palpable – armed enemies from both sides lurk around corners\, while the Prince threatens death to anyone who is caught up in the clash. When Romeo and his Juliet rise above the old grudges\, their love may heal the deep divisions in Verona\, or bring the whole city crashing down. \nJacqueline Donnaruma directs Romeo and Juliet\, and Eleah Jayne Peal has choreographed the series of duels that leave Verona awash in blood. The show features and Anne Ustin as Juliet and Reid Schiermyer as Romeo. \nOther featured performers include Kassidy Rose as Mercutio\, Caedon Troeger as Tybalt\, Aveline Carrone-Podrid as Benvolio\, Anya Vedhathiri as the Prince\, Jack Shaefer as Friar Lawrence\, Vera Love as the Nurse\, Maya Love as Paris\, Brian McBride Land as Lord Montague\, and Brian Rainey as Lord Capulet. \n  \n
