Annual Appeal 2022

WOW! What a year that was!  What a couple of years!

Your donations help us continue our projects and prepare more robust programming as we continue to reopen, but most of all; your donation enables us to continue to do what we love most: build community through the arts.

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary back on February First 2021 – it was a very quiet celebration; we had hoped to celebrate our 31st with more fanfare, maybe next year..  But most important, after a lot of work, grant writing, and research we have reopened!

We did a few weeks of classes during August, which gave us an inkling of how difficult it would be to make the Theatre safe, to get the word out, and hire teachers.  We did a two week run of Snow White, and just closed The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. The final performance, as part of our February Vacation Daze series during the school break – SOLD OUT!

We got a City of Albany – Community Development Grant to purchase video equipment. We used that to tape Snow White and will stream that at a later date.  Theater Voices will be back in April and we are slowly booking the rest of the year.

It has been a complex process, but we are moving forward again.
