Much Ado About Nothing Auditions

March 24 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Steamer No.10 Theatre is holding Student Auditions for

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

Written by William Shakespeare

Directed (& program led by) by Jacqueline Donnaruma

Auditions will be held Monday & Tuesday, March 24 & 25 from 5:30-7:00pm.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Two couples, Claudio and Hero and Beatrice and Benedick, navigate a whirlwind of love, deception, and witty banter, all while their friends orchestrate situations to help them overcome their initial reluctance to admit their feelings for each other.

In this Shakespearean comedy, the battle of words and wits ensues as a malicious plot leads to accusations, schemes, chaos and heartbreak, before love and truth finally prevail.

Steamer No. 10 Theatre’s program directors are committed to building a diverse, authentic cast, supporting ALL students. Young artists of any gender identity, ethnicity, and neuro-diversity are encouraged to audition!

This production is primarily casting student artists between ages 13-18.

Please note:

Limited roles are available for young adults and adults, with the intention for these performers to act as mentors to students involved, and as such, qualify for a small stipend. In taking care of our community of students, participating as adults actors above 18 will be asked to do a background check (within our production’s budget) if cast in the production.
