Jackie McGee falls asleep in history class and “wakes up” in a dream to find her history teacher leading her through the history of the Erie Canal in ”Clinton’s Ditch,” an innovative show that places 21st century characters into the 19th century allowing them to interact and ask the questions that highlight the relevance of the Erie Canal to our own times.
